Space Station Crew Discusses Life in Space with Texas Students

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 43 Commander Terry Virts of NASA and Flight Engineer Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency discussed life in orbit and the research they are conducting during an in-flight event April 6 with students at the Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas. In attendance was Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), who chairs the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. Virts and Cristoforetti, who have been in orbit since last November, will be returning to Earth May 14 in a Soyuz spacecraft to complete a five and a half month mission.
